just so glad that we're finally diving into some backstories of characters we've already seen instead of backstories of brand new characters that won't pop up again for awhile lol

I still have no idea why that musical had ever been so popular, one of the only times my friend and I walked out during intermission

When people critiqued Hoppers for "not being revolutionary" enough, I'm sorry!! It was not written for adults, its for kids!!! The cute little beaver could not murder the mayor!!! I hate everything lol

It depresses me to see the ever shrinking spaces we have for children extend even to animation, a medium that US audiences have been primed to think of as For Children!! What are we doing!!!

it's sad to see how often the top suits just see lack of investment/marketing as a broken system, hoping that the next big gaming streamer (that has no incentive to work with studios) might be interested in working with them, lol

A comic. Emma is wearing a hospital gown in a nondescript white space. A voice says, “you’re so pretty.” She responds with irritation, “me? you must not have noticed my many flaws i'm actually large and awkward and lumpy and sweaty and i-” She is cut off mid-sentence by a corrective electric shock. “no,” says the voice. “i like your comics,” the voice says. Emma, who is still recovering from the shock, says without thinking, “you are so full of—“ before catching herself and amending to, “nnnice words,” but she can’t stop herself from adding, “but i genuinely can’t see my work as anything but trash and it makes me thínk less of you for liking—” She is cut off again by a shock. “no,” says the voice. The voice says, “you’re a good mom.” “Tha—“ says Emma, starting to contradict, before gritting her teeth and saying, “—ank you. That’s kind of you to say.” She holds her forced smile but flinches, anticipating another shock. Instead, the voice says, “you’re good at your job.” Emma, frustrated, yells, “what???” She quickly tries to add “a sweet thing to say,” but is cut off again by another shock.

idk what's worse about the avatar leak, the fact that it undermines the future of the animation industry or the fact that it brought back the shipping wars again

hal and lois were so blatantly, textually progressive in the og series, it's crazy to me that people missed that

I finished the malcolm in the middle revival, and I cried lol. I guess people hated it because the family is still as compassionate, kind and woke as they were in the original series

AI learns language from skewed sources. That could change how we humans speak – and think | Bruce Schneier Large language models aren’t trained on real-life conversations. As we encounter their language, it could affect our own

Oh:

A 2022 study found that children in households that used voice commands with tools like Siri and Alexa became curt when speaking with humans, often calling out “Hey, do X” and expecting obedience, especially from anyone whose voice resembled the default-female electronic voices.

i think democrats don't like hasan piker purely because of aesthetics and tbh, you should squash the little nerd in you that hates that a handsome jock is on your side
