A little bit startled to see this today!
11 years is 1/3rd of my life. WILD!!

Whose bright idea was it to put these 2 movies head-to-head?
Guess I'll just never buy a console again
I also very commonly see
"We used AI every-damn-where, but it all passed through a human hand for final touches and approval, so it's just as good as something fully human made"
As if putting icing on a turd makes it chocolate cake...
There's nothing that can really be done about AI fluff being crammed into the corner of every existing piece of software.
The part I care about, is whether generative AI was used for any of the art, music or assets. And that absolutely can and should still be accurately disclosed.
I wonder.
Did Indieio let all these developers they've published know ahead of time that all their games were about to be dumped onto a subscription service?
I most often send game keys out when they're safely in a "no embargo" window. It's easier for everyone to not have to worry about scheduling things.
For the last couple launches, I've gotten LOTS of replies of people asking "when is it safe to upload coverage"
Does nobody read anything anymore??
So many Steam AI disclosures end up reading like,
"We used AI all over the place. But we made certain to feel bad when we used it. Therefore our AI use is very unproblematic and you aren't allowed to be mad about it"
Today alone had Subliminal, Raccoin, Super Meat Boy 3D, and Grim 2?! RIP to anyone else who released today... 👀
Why is it so common for Best Before dates to use "MA" ?
Would it be so hard to fit in the R or Y?!
When directing, Clint Eastwood famously did as few takes as possible. Often only 1-2 at most.
Being his editor must be the cushiest job in the biz
My ice cube seems happy to see me
I anticipate Mortal Kombat 2 will be a box office hit. And that they'll announce a 3rd movie + something like a Sub-Zero standalone, as they attempt to build their own MKCU
Jacobi Jupe was incredible in Hamnet. I'm a little terrified of what he might bring to this movie
YouTube is so great.
Today they randomly copyright flagged a 3 year old video that I previously spent over a month fighting (and won!) copyright appeals now.
Now they just randomly moved the goalpost??
NTBTSTM is like a straight edge stoner comedy (complimentary)
Big things are happening in the world of bird horror
I find it very funny that Jessie Buckley is cleaning up on this awards tour, while ads are all over for The Bride!
There's like 0 chance that movie is good right??
Arrows getting realistically stuck into things 🤤🤤🤤
I'm super disappointed we won't be getting 5 seasons. But I've grown to REALLY respect creative people choosing the moment and terms they end something on.
Those 3 seasons are going to have leave an incredible legacy! Michael and Zach should be so insanely proud of what they've accomplished.
'Highly Irresponsible' was such a cool album! Disappointed to hear Greg Puciato won't be fronting their sophomore release. Curious who they bring in to try and fill those massive shoes?
Wh- whaaaat??
Every time I see a post celebrating "My game debuted at the top of New & Trending!!"
I have to bite my tongue from sharing N&T is chronological...
Hitting the list at all is still a huge achievement! I don't want to rain on that parade. But I still short circuit for a second every time I see it
Andor is among the best things to ever come out of the franchise. And it's so largely detached from the Skywalker saga, that it's pretty easy to get into without dragging along that baggage.
The only downside is you'll be left wondering, "why can't everything else in the franchise be this good??"
I haven't seen a full new episode of The Simpsons in ages. I just see the odd clips in my feed.
I've heard examples for many years now how Julie Kavner struggles with Marge's voice. A couple years ago Harry Shearer's characters started sounding off. And suddenly now Homer feels WAY different to me
How far apart can 2 albums release while still reasonably being considered a Double Album?
MØL's DREAMCRUSH is absolutely phenomenal!
The combination of black metal, shoegaze, upbeat rock, beautiful ambience, and so many other playful genre blends makes this album insanely inventive and textured.
I've listened to it front to back at least 30 times since it released. A masterpiece!!
That's lookin' smooooth!
