I am in the comments of an Indicator episode on Spotify fighting this same fight over people who are just ignoring the entire contents of the episode on investor owned housing.

These people insist on the most baby brained understandings of how marginalized identities (or lack thereof) play into politics and voters biases. Rooms full of 50 year olds with the same understanding as a 19 y/o in 2016 who just read New Jim Crow, but in reverse.

I couldn’t attend so submitted letters of support. Also got a lot of support from KCDSA members on the issue when I shared with them, which gives me hope for NYC style left YIMBYism winning over California style left NIMBYism. One less faction to fight!
