Our rescue pittie Blueberry, who loves libraries as well as shelters, hopes you get that opportunity. But all libraries must include a shelf for dog treats, he adds.

I continue to be gobsmacked at 1) how common this formulation is 2) how antisemitic and generally bigoted it is 3) and how for all the talk of anti-semitism this is never cited as an example even though it’s quite literally the original incarnation.

It implies that we are visitors in someone else’s country.

Animal shelters, like libraries, are among the best things possible!

A multicolored quilt made of of scraps with the words WE KNOW WHAT WE SAW staggered down it with a large beautiful eye centered between the words. The eye has a rainbow camera aperture as the iris. It is quilted densely.

Another resistance quilt finished this week. The eye is my own design, the letters are a fpp pattern by QuiltByNight, the rounded corners and black binding are meant to resemble the phones we the people are using to document the horrors and disprove the government’s lies about what they are doing.

Here’s the situation in the Twin Cities:

Random Bovino-style tear-gassing: Way down

Relentless persecution of immigrants: Unchanged

Thuggish violence against observers: Way up

What should alarm us about the Epstein files isn’t just the appalling details, which are horrific and criminal.

It’s that here is a growing sense that there is small number of elite who see themselves as above the law.

Not in the Epstein files:
- trans people
- migrants and asylum seekers
- people who arrive in small boats
- benefits claimants

In the Epstein files:
- rich white guys who tell you (or pay people to tell you) to hate the people above

Alaska Native group sues Trump administration for nixing North Slope caribou protections A Nuiqsut group says the administration violated federal law by ending Teskekpuk Lake safeguards and dismissing subsistence harvesting as a ‘non-use’ of resources.

Representatives of Nuiqsut have sued the Trump administration over the abrupt cancellation of a program that gave protections to the Teshekpuk Lake area and the caribou herd that uses it. via @alaskabeacon.com

ICE detained multiple kids (all under the age of 10!) in the last week alone. Still kidnapping people based solely on the way they look. Still arresting parents at school pick up.

Nothing has changed in Minnesota. Nice words from the Admin won’t change that. ICE leaving will.

The judge writes: "Observing human behavior confirms that for some among us, the perfidious lust for unbridled
power and the imposition of cruelty in its quest know no bounds and are bereft of human decency. And
the rule of law be damned."

Key quote from the judge's order releasing Liam Ramos & his father: "Observing human behavior confirms that for some among us, the perfidious lust for unbridled power and the imposition of cruelty in its quest know no bounds and are bereft of human decency. And the rule of law be damned."

Bells rang at the Basilica of St. Mary at noon as part of a call for unity from more than 100 churches across the Twin Cities, one week after federal agents shot and killed Alex Pretti.

Oh, look! The guy in charge of deporting people for being antisemitic is antisemitic himself. Is that where self-deportation kicks in?

So shocking that the tiny dude with the Nazi haircut and Nazi coat who likes to harass people in the streets is an actual Nazi.

They used "anti-semitism" as a pretext to deport foreign-born students and chill free speech, and their deportation chief -- the one with the nonstandard Hugo Boss-style greatcoat -- was spouting anti-semitic insults at a US attorney

Popping out of the vehicle guns drawn and pointing them at a legal observer exercising her constitutional rights.

Everything about this is reckless, dangerous, the opposite of law & order and keeping anyone safe… how do people see this and not see masked secret police style terror on US streets

This is just insane. It’s only a matter of time before DHS kills another innocent person here.

It's easy to get inured to this. But it's genuinely shocking. These are just untrained, hyped up hooligans terrorizing people.

Relief printmaking was traditionally a form of protest art. I'm a linocut artist, and I protest. So here are two linocut resistance posters for Minnesota (a loon, the state bird, and an eagle)--if anyone wants high-res images to use, just DM me. Feel free to use them.
