It IS actually quite serious. Sadly, there has never been a dictator that didn’t suffer from delusions, narcissism & sociopathic disorders of various kinds, so getting him into a real psych eval is prolly impossible. Trump has no capacity for empathy whatsoever: the most telling sign of all.
The #Trump administration’s war on #media continues. Patel is suing The Atlantic for a multisourced article about his drinking & behavior—the standard is set higher 4him so that he must prove malice & intentional spreading of false info. Trump is busy suing NYT, BBC, CNN & The Des Moines Register.
Men can call the same numbers for referrals. Same sex abuse is a very real phenomenon as well: San Francisco has some of the best resources.

The problem is bad everywhere. #Finland has the highest DV rate in EU yet shelters are few & far between. Abusers who are drunk are often let go after one night in jail. I live downstairs from an abuser & his partner tries to protect him when the cops come. Not unusual; I used to do the same.
Domestic violence (DV) is happening to someone as you read this post. Psychological violence can be as traumatic as physical. IF we survive, the trauma is a lifelong battle. Facts: 1 in 4 US women will experience DV.
Over 1/2 of female homicide victims are killed by a current/former male partner.
We seem to have an immense amount of time to do our hair & make-up and wear stilettos while on the job. 💋
But in reality: I’ve lost track of how many men assume my interest in telling their story or working w/ them means I want to sleep with them. From celebrities to politicians to … yes, editors.
First it was “quiet, piggy” to a female reporter. Now Trump is literally waving women journalists away with rude hand signals. This is so unacceptable how women in the White House press corps are being treated!

Actually, no matter how ppl now like to forget, Biden was one of the biggest influencers of legislation that helped to create the #massincarceration system. He later made attempts to correct the damage he did, but hundreds of thousands STILL incarcerated bc of his legislation. Sad, but very true.
Twitter was diverse. X less so. BlueSky even less. How do we go about creating a “starter pack” for all of the myriad minority communities? BIPOC, LGBTQ, disabled etc? Talk to me. Let’s do it.

Moreover, corrupted politicians arent loyal to ANYONE.

They are loyal to MONEY.
Therein lies the strongest argument against the existence of ALL PACs and any money in political decision making. It corrupts everything.
They are thus corrupted politicians who gladly take money in exchange for voting patterns.
They are not employees.
Words DO matter. Because your argument is always stronger when it is fully accurate.

The fact that Trump is the president of the world’s “greatest democracy” means that democracy must now be redefined.
Or, we admit: Trump is the president of the world’s largest, most powerful dictatorship. Every American is thus living in a modern dictatorship.

It’s great that you’re outraged by Trump & #resist. But #Trump is symbolic of a pathological American attachment to #racist, #xenophobic, #misogynistc & #eugenics-centered far-right ideologies.
If you care about America’s future, you must stand against ALL of it. Trump didn’t happen in a vacuum.
