Junji Ito is one of my all time favourite artists in general. From Uzumaki and Tomie to Gyo and his adaptation of No Longer Human, his work captures a kind of surreal, creeping dread that makes his horror so intimate.

His artwork is just so beautifully grotesque. During readings, I can’t help but admire how much detail Ito puts into every panel.
