Let's again stipulate that the government is not a business & the whole idea it should run like one is a dumb category error. But if anyone was actually serious about running the government like a business & eliminating waste, the model would be Costco & not a single person/firm from Silicon Valley.
If I had a nickel for every time that happened… Well, I’d have two nickels, but it’s really weird that it’s happened twice.
Turning attention to merrymaking but to close: For all the blamemeter calibration and spin going on today the simple fact is if USC had won 8 of the last 10 against Notre Dame and made the playoff a few times this series would still be happening and every single person, even Dan Wolken, knows that.
Freaking Aussies man. Tough people.

One of the best parts of the John Wick franchise is that there’s no exposition - you’re just given a window into this elaborate world that runs parallel to yours but with its own set of rules that you’re told nothing about.
More exposition-less drama!
🌈 Today is #NationalComingOutDay!
Whether you’re out, not out, questioning, or can’t share your truth safely, you’re valid, seen, loved and part of community regardless of how visible you are.
Coming out is personal. Be proud of who you are, in whatever way feels right for you. ❤️

I mean… yes? That clearly seems to answer the question in the affirmative.
I read it in my 20s and I thought Hayden was an obnoxious brat up until the final page, and that reveal made me feel so overwhelmingly sad for him. I wouldn’t have processed it at any meaningful level when I was a middle schooler.
It was a very Netflix series, in that it’s hard to pin down whether its main aim is to be funny or thought-provoking. We liked it - funny at first and then as the characters unfolded more it became sad. Danson is of course great. Stephanie Beatriz too.
Literally nothing good can come of it.
