I got an email today from Verizon stating that they're sending me a refund of almost $134. I left them for T-Mobile over a year ago because I felt they were too expensive. And I knew that they owed me some money but didn't know it was this much. Happy about the refund yet glad I gave them the boot.🤑

Okay, so new phone needs some training wheels. Tried to pay for lunch with it, and it did a WTF? Got that partially resolved but still missing two additional CCs and a pre-paid transit card. Then my failed unlock-the-gym-door-HAL app. Now there's no telling what else failed the "Data Transfer."

A new phone was waiting for me on my doorstep yesterday. I think I got a little misty-eyed knowing that my old phone, that was by my side everyday for 4+ years, was going away. I get like this with inanimate objects sometimes. It feels like a betrayal to an old friend.
But the new phone is so cool!
