Today we are dissecting daffodils to help us learn about the anatomy of a flower.

Primary 6 are having a great time in Lockerbie. It might be raining ☔️ but that’s not stopping the fun! Axe throwing and zip line are next! 😃

We have had a fantastic #EuropeanDayofLanguages in P5P. We listened to stories in Greek and French, created presentations on national animals on Canva and continued learning a language of our own choice on Duolingo!👏 @missmcguckinbps.bsky.social

Thanks to the funding we secured from @mathsweek.scot we have been able to create ’number adventure kits’ to go home with our families! Each kit has a different focus: ‘Number and counting’, ‘pattern and shape’, “‘movement’ and ‘measure’, providing our families different opportunities to learn. 📏🔢

This week we have been reading the story of Stickman. This pupil created an amazing stickman using natural materials 🧍‍♂️

We have been learning how to count up to 4, form the number 4, and show 4 in different ways 4️⃣

Last week, the Helicopter Fairy visited our class and left us Helicopter Story jotters as a present 🚁🧚 We wrote our own stories and then acted them out, it was so exciting, and we came up with lots of creative and interesting ideas 📚
