Pedophiles, drunks, liars, hookers, cocksuckers, boytoys and out-of-wedlock relationships.
At one time, these were people not in the White House.
future generations will need a series of textbooks just to explainhow this dumb question became a litmus test because these fascists were so stupid and their leader so far up his own arsehole that they couldnt even just lie about what they thought to get into power
89 candles would have set off the sprinklers, so we settled for one — and one perfect slice of cake (with @bradtakei.bsky.social on ice cream duty). Thank you to every friend, fan, and fellow traveler who has made these 89 years such a joyous voyage.
Happy Birthday! Great picture of a lovely couple.
From March, but still a great read from Galloway.
"Despite using their relationship with President Trump as a cudgel, the Ellisons must still clear EU regulatory hurdles, as well as potential litigation from state attorneys general. They’ll likely get approval..."
Right on!
A major victory cannot come soon enough.
I know I'm not alone in this despair of rising costs coupled with stagnant income.
We're reaching (have reached) French Revolution stage.
Oh now I see the thread.
After renting the same space for 12 years, am now facing that monthly expense to TRIPLE. Life altering. Actually tragically altering. My son, my ex...virtually everyone I know struggles with this phenomenon - LLC's buying up rental properties & getting away with this.
We are losing The Class War.
Wait, what?
Yep.
As the Jan. 6 Committee accomplished nothing, can absolutely get that view. We MUST do better.
At my age, can only hope to see it at least begin, the start, which may explain my impatience. Plus, just so angry at what's happening - all so very WRONG.
For my son, & his children - major reforms.
Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

Medicare for all.
Like EVERY OTHER industrialized country on the planet.
Many ways to look at, but healthcare didn't become a for profit industry in the US until the 70's.
A 2K tax, instead of 8K out of pocket, for those who can afford it.
Old, and on Medicare, and Medicare rocks.
Cancer survivor too, and thankfully hit after 65.
W/out insurance, costs exceeded $300K. My out of pocket was $7500 - which I JUST paid off. Also 3 years in remission.
I got great care locally, but the wealthy go to MD Anderson or Sloan Kettering.
Read her book, Cassidy's.
First 3/4 is fun, interesting - my fave was the Matt Gaetz story.
"This is political retribution at its worst"
She was brave, a hero, and they're going after her - hope it backfires, spectaularly.
Do you see why we don’t give a shit that you “donate” your $400,000 salary?

Money absolutely does not buy happiness, or great wisdom!
But it's nice when you need expensive healthcare, basic necessities.
At the very least, yes!
Grew up the son of a successful surgeon, which meant prep school, etc. While a few of my schoolmates have gone on to earn their success, the majority can now be described as "morbidly wealthy." All inherited wealth.
Most are incredibly unhappy, substance abuse, divorced, etc.
Next item on my timeline!
Al Gore:
“This is the most corrupt administration not only in American history, but more corrupt than I could ever have imagined a president would be able to get away with to the extent that he has. It’s shocking to me.”
Thanks for posting!
Have attended something very similar. Actually made me grateful for my poverty - or relative poverty.
The Bohemian Club on the Central Coast hold several of these each year - same but even creepier.
One of us went home with her arm in a sling; the other three developed itchy, painful red blisters all over our faces and extremities. If you’re looking for a sign from God to whether hanging out with the richest man on Earth is right for you, pay attention when he sends you not one plague, but two.

No flu vaccines?
An incredibly stupid Hegseth order
