I decided to a break from game-related pixel art I've been doing, and decided to challenge myself to work with the restrictions of older pixel art formats. In this case, CGA Graphics, which only allow you to choose 4 out of 16 preset colors. Its more complicated than that, as you cannot just pick any 4 of the 16, but if you're interested in the exact restrictions, I suggest you look that up on your own. This image is upscaled, but is drawn in the native CGA resolution of 320x200 and in the default Black, White, Cyan, Magenta color palette these old systems supported. I had quite a bit of fun with this, letting the colors I had available help create the character, and will do more limited palette art in the future. Her name is pronounced like Harriet. I just like puns.

The NSFW versions of a self imposed art challenge I did to create a few pieces in the old CGA graphics format, limiting the choices for colors significantly. Quite happy with how they turned out, and will be doing more limited palette art in the future.
