What? Vote to repeal Obamacare every other day? I would much rather see something along the lines of Harry Ried or Henry Waxman out maneuvering the majority at every turn until taking the majority and making major changes. McConnell had nothing but a cudgel, and Ryan was politically impotent.
When Democrats gain power, they look at how they can work Republicans. When Republicans gain power, they look at how they can destroy their opponent and their voters. How many more generations are we going to have to deal with this dynamic?
