Fertility Rate and Satisfaction in the US over time since 1980. In 2020, 7 year rolling average for satisfaction at its lowest (below 10%), with fertility rate below 1.9. Peak for satisfaction was early 2000s, approx. 55% satisfaction of 7-year rolling average. Fertility rate peaked soon after in the mid 2000s at 2.1. I guess they want us to think when we have more kids, we're happier?
