My thoughts exactly.

At this point I can't just roll my eyes anymore at male entitlement. This sounds like a man who will eventually do a mass murder. The resentment & delusions of "revenge" on women who are just trying to live their lives without the demands of some weirdo to be the main character in it.

70 powerful Bay Area men were accused of sexual misconduct. What happened next? Since 2010, scores of prominent local men have faced allegations ranging from sexual harassment to rape. Most have returned to the highest echelons of public life.

It is pretty hard to get 'cancelled' due to sexual misconduct if you are a powerful man even in San Francisco. Of 70 men who faced public allegations (2010 - 2026), 76% are professionally active, 41% in the same or an elevated role. Only 2 in prison.

People would then, and still will, really look you in the eye and say that sexuality cannot be free unless men are permitted to rape with impunity. Free for whom, one wonders.

Oh? We literally spent days watching people eulogize and tributize Justin Fairfax, an actual murderer. But go on.

We watched in real time men talking about what a great Frat bro Justin Fairfax was and how nice of a guy he was right after the news hit of him murdering his wife Dr. Cerina Fairfax. But sure...men are never humanized.

These statements don’t always align with an organization’s actual willingness to remove a perpetrator from a position of power.

But after a public debate about whether sexual harassment is “bad enough” for someone to leave Congress, let this be a reminder that the policy is clear: yes, it is.

The thing about these religious exemptions to public accommodation civil rights law that the court is creating is that they have no limiting principle. If commercial enterprises can refuse to serve me because my marriage is gay, why not because it’s interracial? Why not because I’m a woman in pants?

A reminder that manosphere sites aren't just rapists like Tates. Many are sites like this disguised to look like benign, even wholesome support for men. They prey on men by sprinkling in toxic positivity with their misogyny in an effort to radicalize struggling men.

"Dad matters" & it's justifying murdering the mother of children over suspicion of infidelity. (And while we can't even keep up with the news reports rn of men murdering their wives or whole families.)

The solution to infidelity is divorce, not domestic violence & femicide.

It's always amusing to me how they describe a boss as (sexually) dominant & even an enslaver while forgetting men have bosses. Or in Tate's case, he submits to every incel he performs for in his fragile grift.

There's always a flood of these articles/posts after each revelation of men's systemic sexual violence. A rape academy was revealed so now we have to be subjected to a bunch of inane "but actually women" reactions, a further indignity in our rape culture that centers the comforts of men.

Elon Musk basically accused Trump of being a pedophile and then got dinner with him again a few months later. Joe Rogan acted shocked and dismayed about ICE and Iran and now he’s standing behind Trump in the Oval Office. These guys only care about holding onto power through any means necessary

Translation: please don't create a support community for women I want to abuse.

Every 68 seconds a man rapes someone in the USA.

Less than 1% of rapes result in felony convictions.

But sure, it's the women who are spoiled.

Also telling that with each revelation of rape group chats of tens of thousands, or rape sites with millions, we're met with handwringing about women's "misandry" & "extremist" views & centering some alleged harm women are doing to deflect from the piling receipts of men's abuse.

And every time men Not All Men, Not A Real Man, Women too, acktually the numbers are small(er), it reinforces that they do not care. They will never care. The system is working exactly as they desire. Which is why it's them too.

Every attempt to talk about what women have to survive because of patriarchy's rape culture is met with attempts to exhaust & preserve men's comfort (& class as noble, virtuous, & heroic). We can't ever talk about the systemic nature of this violence for quibbling over numbers.

Women: omg I just saw a guy get jumped by a dozen dudes. It was brutal!

Men: actually I just counted, it's only 11. Accuracy is important. Also one of them is really small. Fellas, are we counting the lil guy? Ok it's 10. Facts matter. Also he's breathing so not "brutal."

What men sound like.

Yes, "psycho feminists" highlighting receipts for the scale of men's intent for sexual violence is the problem & they're spoiled. Not the men who see a story about rape academies & cry this hurts men's reputations & feelings & the priority should be how trivial this actually is.

When we talk about the pervasiveness of sexual violence perpetrated by men, we're constantly shouted down that it's not a problem, everyone knows rape is wrong, it's just a few Not Real Men with frequent flyer miles. When there are receipts, we must center precision to excuse men.
