There's a lot of things in the client that don't necessarily make sense to us given what we know and have access to. Some things may be leakage from the server side of things, some might be internal tool stuff, some might be unfinished/scrapped systems and some of it might make sense in the future.
Another example is Map Anima (we only had MANM, not the full name) which first appeared in 8.3 with a lot of (test?) data in old maps before Shadowlands was even announced. That ended up being the anima line system you see in the Shadowlands. Unclear without that context, but still strange today.
Love seeing hints of new tech show up in WoW but not having enough or really any information to know what it is/does. Not being sarcastic either, it's very fun to speculate about. Reminds me of back when LivingWorld appeared and it ended up being for the birds that fly away when you get close.

Days without a Blizzard CDN incident: 0. This time it's us.cdn.blizzard.com not updating/throwing errors for stuff it should have. Given the only other CDN is level3 (which is also the ONLY CDN for EU) which also has its issues from time to time, they're kinda playing with fire there. Fun times.

The above doesn't exactly confirm that, but assuming you mean the area highlighted in blue in this image, that subzone is internally labeled as 11zone4 which was Rootlands until it wasn't, this was found by jimbomcb only yesterday and does actually confirm your theory.

I hope things change for the better sooner rather than later. We all know (or should know) where the kind of things we're seeing happen across the world have lead to previously and we can't allow it to get that bad again. Be a good human and consider how you can help prevent things getting worse.
I've previously mentioned my journey with gender still being an ongoing thing, and while I've only had positive remarks around exploring that so far, I very much recognize that I'm in the minority there and that, especially elsewhere, even mentioning the word gender is a reason to receive hate.
Trans people are everywhere and an important yet often discriminated part of society. Access to gender affirming healthcare is getting harder almost everywhere and in some countries trans rights are actively regressing as well. Transphobia is on the rise and we all should chip in to stop that.
Happy trans day of visibility! With the increasing issues and challenges that trans people encounter I think it's worth taking a moment to mention it and check in to see how one can help, for example by researching who supports trans rights when voting in local politics. Things are dire right now.

If Holly could change the game personally without any limitations, personalization/interaction is something she thinks they could do better at. She talks about more celebratory stuff, like dances or being able to hi5 between a Gnome and a Tauren. More beards/hair, improving transmogs/customization.
Housing roadmap is still coming soon(tm) (Holly says more than a couple weeks away), but the housing feature and its future is very much in-flux based on what the community is asking and doing with housing, so it's not as clear cut/set in stone as other roadmaps are (reading between the lines here).
The housing team has been praised for being very responsive, Holly says that the housing feature is important to get right and that's why the housing team has been more transparent and responsive. The ambassador Discord partner program is a way they hope to also improve that throughout the game.
