I’m trying to square their shadow docket call on Mirabelli with their denying cert on Foote, and it doesn’t seem to make any sense. Now maybe that is just the answer with the Roberts Court, but, I thought I’d ask you. Again, you may not have time!
Ongoingly appreciate your following these.

Denying cert, though, means the district won; the First Circuit found for the Ludlow schools last year (super writing in the decision, BTW: law.justia.com/cases/federa...)
@chrisgeidner.bsky.social I know you don’t need more to do, but this question is in line with cases you follow: Foote v Ludlow was denied cert Monday. It’s a case from Massachusetts, somewhat similar to Mirabelli, save that the district was following state guidance, not a law.

I firmly believe presidents & people with control over medical agencies should understand percentages!
If *you* don’t, no judgment; I will explain in the next couple posts how they work. The short version is that Senator Warren is correct in the clip, and there’s NO interpretation in which RFKJr is
This is quite insane. After a long debate that ultimately (nearly) doubled the number of private school vouchers statewide in TN to 35,000, the Assembly is now proposing *unlimited" vouchers in a separate program in all of the urban counties in TN (1/n) www.chalkbeat.org/tennessee/20...
SPLC Union Logo: Yesterday, the Department of Justice leveled outrageous allegations at the Southern Poverty Law Center. In so doing, they maligned the integrity of the SPLC workers who have labored tirelessly for decades to expose the dangerous cruelty of extremists and hate groups in the United States.
SPLC Union Logo: This work is punishing. It takes a toll on our health and on our safety. But we persist because we believe in our mission to advance justice for all, and we believe that investigating, naming, and alerting the American people to the activities of those who seek to harm our neighbors is a moral imperative and an essential public service.
Today our colleagues are facing abuse and harassment from the far-right figures emboldened by this attack. But we will not be deterred, we will not be intimidated, and we will continue to name racism, sexism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, and all hate for the blight that it is.
Below is a statement from the unionized workers of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
This is insane, tinpot authoritarian shit.

Ben Franklin, on why you should get your kids vaccinated:
“In 1736 I lost one of my sons, a fine boy of four years old, by the small-pox, taken in the common way. I long regretted bitterly, and still regret that I had not given it to him by inoculation.
