The biggest story in the world right now is that the president of the United States is a demented old man who takes pleasure in torturing and killing people and is committing crimes with impunity. And yet most legacy media outlets are too cowardly to tell it like it is.
Sadly, part of what led us here is today we are in a post Nixon world. Roger Stone learned directly from Nixon resigning that a corrupt president needed to banish every party member with a conscience, so today there's no one in his party that will turn on him. I hope I'm wrong.

Any government that can kill it's citizens for no other reason than the government "feeling scared" is not a democracy. If protest is always labeled as domestic terrorism, then all citizens have a democratic duty to peacefully protest to expose those truths of the failings of their government.

What a cynically presented premise. A man with almost no power was killed by police, the enforcement arm of the people. A rich political speaker with a lot of power was murdered by a deranged lone gunman. This "both sides" pandering is false and detracts from the very real problems to solve
Ellison and Murdoch don't need to interfere with all posts on TikTok to have a an oversize impact on its users. It was never about the Chinese influence, but about bringing that influence operation home under the conservatives media machine's control.
