If you’ve deleted Facebook, you’re not missing much. I randomly get notifications about groups I should join that have zero connection to me. I’ve never been a student at Michigan State nor would I need to join a group of 18-22 year olds looking for roommates. Creepy if you ask me.

The problem with April Fools day in the wake of social media algorithms is it’s more misinformation than a fun trend. I’m getting posts fed to me a week later so for the first 15 seconds it’s not obvious the info or photo is a joke.

Just preordered a vinyl from my favorite band. Due to either tariffs or some other international import tax, it went from $45 to $79. Ouch. Still willing to pay that for a Haevn symphonic album.

Blooming Corpse Plant at the local gardens. Surprised the smell wasn’t stronger but it was the humidity inside the greenhouse that almost did me in.

This is the first cyber truck that is interesting to me. I can see it being in a Jurassic World movie with its military-adjacent style. But I’d also enjoy watching a sauropod stomp it on the big screen.

Every car wash (3 different ones) I’ve been to in the last three years there’s been an attendant at the paying kiosk who tries to upsell me or get me to pay for subscription-like service. It’s wildly inappropriate in my opinion. Like I can press the touch screen and insert my card without your help?

Previous to the FDA, folks would put chalk and plaster of Paris in milk to make it appear white. They could also add formaldehyde to cover the smell and taste of spoiled milk.

23andMe declared bankruptcy and the company is gonna be sold off for parts. That includes your DNA information and the only amount of control you have is to delete your info immediately. It’s very simple to do.

After spending all their adult life at sea, the container ship seeks out the estuary where they were born to mate and lay their eggs. It’s a perilous journey and not all ships make it to their spawning grounds.

Oh wow. I’m glad to hear they can be very colorful because the ones last October here were grayish and I was hoping higher latitudes would have better. Spectacular photos!

Are they bright green in person, or are they more grayish and the camera helps show the color?

'There is no one left': Custer Gallatin National Forest workers reeling from job losses The cuts weren’t isolated. Across the seven ranger districts that comprise the Custer Gallatin National Forest, Knight said she has heard of at least 32 terminations as of Monday.

As a result, she said, just three full-time employees remain in both the Yellowstone and Bozeman ranger districts to manage 19 rental cabins, 60 bathrooms, 21 campgrounds and other infrastructure spread across 1 million acres.

And we can write historical fiction without using derogatory language. Yes it happened in real life. But you don’t have to immerse the reader so deeply that your book overflows with racist/phobic/prejudiced/words and descriptions.

Do you have a Invisalign mouthguard? Mine has helped a lot with clenching and it would make your teeth smoother while sleeping.
