wasn't influenced too much on her ship, but I have been trying to sketch a ship design that has a bird-like silhouette. If you've ever seen a falcon or seabird in a dive they strike a really sleek shape

I keep picturing Samus getting stranded on some lush planet, both her ship and her suit damaged beyond immediate repair. So she has to search for new means of strength, defense, and traversal - one being this flying steed.

Of course this game would be called Metroid Primal, hehehe

Haha, I'll mention that those two pics together are a bit misleading since I've depicted them in different eras (Ian in the early GalFed years, Adam closer to Other M).
Though, I do tend to think of Adam as very visibly being the 'older bro' - hardened by experience.
