These are screenshots from the Mine, I carried a couple active orestone vents from the Molten Veins Mod down there and built a bunch of machines to harvest it, its all ready to go, just waiting for a processing building to be built near town.

a Fluke Gas station, unfinished. I wanted to have more gradual curves for my roads, built an entire machine to make them, but the road marking tool doesnt support them.

Shaft MFG Co. was the first factory building I built here, and is home to most of the small Create Mod machines still. The original building is underneath this, buried after I moved street level up from sealevel.

The small papermill and the inprogress power station. This really only makes cardboard and paper but I intend to expand to other wood blocks at some point.

Minecraft Screenshot, this is the brick and gravel factory, tucked away on one of the river forks, it also makes small quantities of andesite and iron.

The Orca Bay Coffee building was the third building in town, but it still sits empty, waiting until I get power to it for a kitchen.

I never posted the followup because I still haven't finished the interior. half of the building is still being 'renovated' while the other half is going to be the storage monitor office.

I think this might by my most favorite building yet. I'll post some interior shots soon, had to hop off.

I need to post more worldbuilding stuff. Actually getting stuff down for the Daphur-Ascarian conflict was fun, and it had been a blurry spot in the story for like 10 years at this point.

They found a seemingly peaceful post-industrial civilization living amongst the ruins of their old war-like ways. The Daphur allowed the Humans to use Dellano as a forward base for their own war against the Ascarains. This decision thrust Dellano back into the galactic sphere. [End]

The Ascarian occupation of Dellano and subjugation of the Daphur lasted almost four hundred years before they voluntarily left the Daphur to their own devices.
When the Humans discovered the Daphur in 2149...

Their brutal losses and total capitulation caused a titanic shift across Daphur culture as a whole. Population control was established with hormonal suppressants available to be taken during mating season. Conflicts were resolved between factions by a new mediator guild overseen by an Ascarian court

The Ascarians pushed them back to only three planets and the Daphur made a plea to surrender.

After great deliberation by the Ascarians, they accepted the Daphur’s surrender on the condition that the Daphur abandon independent spaceflight and limit themselves to their single homeworld.

The conflict led to the many factions putting aside their differences and fighting together for the first time, and they tried to mount a last minute desperate defense. New tech was developed, coordination fostered a period of unbelievable trust and camaraderie. But it was too little too late.

The counterattack pushed deep into the Daphur sphere adopting a policy more like pest control than actual warfare. The factional nature of the Daphur led to little coordination across the front, some clans used the war to take out rivals. But they realized that the Ascarians were not going to stop.

At first the Ascarians treated the Daphur incursions as raids by a rogue group while they attempted to make diplomatic contact with a central Daphur government, however they were led on by their contacts into an ambush and the emissary was killed along with their escorts.

Their response was swift and they destroyed the fleet, but other factions in the Daphur sphere had smelled blood in the water and they too wanted to get in on the action.

The fleet let loose its hungry and aggressive fighters onto the surface with no restraint and the under defended colony was almost entirely wiped out overnight. The Ascarians were horrified when they found the remains of their colonists.
