I have not seen many folks talking about this article, but when I saw it last night, it set off a TON of alarm bells. Hopefully an outlet with a better record on unbiased reporting of trans issues can offer fuller and clearer information…

Support for impeaching Trump is at 55%, according to a new Strength In Numbers/ @Verasight.io poll, with 37% of adults opposed. Crucially 1 in 5 of Trump’s own voters support impeachment.

Are the women back there somewhere? Yes, I think I see them.
A bright illustration of an orange and yellow squirrel with a large fluffy tail on a deep blue background with simple star shapes. The text reads: “I hope that you continue to feel more and more like who you really are. The squirrel of self confidence.” Picture by Katie Abey. Us

A little more you, today. Not the role, not the expectation, just you.
That’s enough. 🧡

This is the reason the stock market is completely disconnected from the real economy.
If hard work actually equaled wealth, every single single-mother/father working three jobs would be a billionaire by now. The idea that wealth is a direct result of "grinding" is a total lie. If sweat and hours equaled money, single moms/dads would be the richest people on the planet.

I can directly correlate my need for antidepressants to the men in that room being in power. Because of them, every day is a new fresh hell and there isn’t enough medication in the world to make it otherwise.
I have a bad feeling that as soon as the markets close this evening, Trump is going to do something extra unhinged. I really hate that the GOP has decided that the entire world needs to ride this horrible roller coaster of uncertainty and doom every single weekend.
💯 - I agree on all fronts!!
Yes!! It’s all so absurd, and it seems like the AI bubble is on the cusp of popping. I do worry about the disasters that will leave in its wake, but I continue to hope that in the aftermath we can establish a collective agreement that things must be made for the good of the people and not profit.
Autocorrect used to work well on my phone, but over the past year it’s become more of a hindrance than a help so I’m contemplating just turning it off. I love how AI has been put into literally everything. For me, AI has added no value to anything and instead it has made a lot of things worse. 🙄
This is horrifying. I wish it were surprising. But it seems to be in keeping with so many of the things happening right now.
This is a lovely piece and it really resonated with me. As a very sensitive (also undiagnosed autistic) kid living through the Cold War, I had tremendous fears about nuclear war. Last week was A LOT.
JFK, Trump & 6 Decades of My Autistic Nightmares
Existential crises fry my autistic brain. I've always needed to know what's going on... Like, will we live through the weekend? I trace the line from the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis to modern political tensions, reflecting on a life defined by sensory…

I’ve been struggling to find joy or solace lately…the events of the past week alone have felt like so so much, and I worry that the tender part of me is breaking under the weight of it all. Been trying to take photos of moments of beauty when they happen so I can hold on to them a little longer.
They own this. Whatever disasters continue to unfold belong not to the president and his Cabinet alone, but to the entire Republican Party.
It’s hard not to see Vance’s criticism of the Pope’s theological bona fides as just silly hubris.
But I also see it as a stress test of sorts — can they manipulate sentiment against a pontiff. Not for Trump’s interests. More likely for Thiel’s.
image that Trump posted on Truth Social of Jesus hugging him with a deranged caption that concludes, "God might be playing his Trump card!"
Trump is posting fresh blasphemies this morning
A meme that depicts medical staff in an operating room, and Donald Trump at the door in Jesus robes. The caption reads: “Sir, can we help you?” “No, I work here.” Context:The meme is mocking Trump’s claim that he was portraying himself as a doctor in his recent post depicting himself as Jesus.
Everything is truly terrible, but the Doctor memes are giving me life this morning.
Odd update here: The Trump-Jesus image the president posted (see QT below) appears to have been *altered* from the original, which looks to have been posted in February.
The original did not feature the demogorgan-ish thing in the sky.

Autism Acceptance vs Autism Awareness?
Angels dancing on heads of pins?
I'm more into Autism Equity. I dón't want someone's condescending acceptance of me.
I want what everyone wants. As free a life as anyone else. And freedom without equity doesn't seem remotely possible for me.

Transphobia does not just hurt trans people. It also robs the world of talent and potential.
The Swalwell stuff did not surprise me. I remember really appreciating him in many of the hearings during Trump 1, but there was a moment along the way where his mask slipped and I saw something underneath I really didn’t like. I unfollowed him then, and was dreading having to vote for him for Gov.
