Kind of on the fence on alcohol breath though. It's not as bad as cigarette smoke, not at all, but man do I associate that breath with negative connotations.

I hate how my favorite song in all of DawnTrail is this one.
A song that takes me back to my teen years with music about finding yourself sung by people in their mid 20s.
Not quite Blink-182, Sum 41, or Alkaline Trio, but hey, it's neat.

By the by, the closest Shonen Anime that I can think of that has *some* substance, but not really by much, is "Rurouni Kenshin". But Samurai X blows it out of the water on top of it stemming from that so that's not really fair.

Don't get me wrong, they're fun and all, but again- I can't think of one that had something to say that wasn't generic friendship slop so-to-speak.

I cannot think of one single Shonen anime that's actually decent and not just generic. Not even my favorite ones come close.

I wanna say his arch nemesis would be a chicken or something that terrorized him as a kid and somehow stumbled into one of Maelorn's alchemy that gave it eternal life and sometimes bullies Varnorn. Like a Cuccoo from Zelda lol.

So the troupe uses that to their advantage. The Crow/Raven follows them curiously like they usually do, but this one is feared in Hell because of how tortuous it is. So them walking around and leading it to newer areas can cause some interesting commotion!

So my bestest boy is human, right? So he's long dead. But given he was an assassin, part of "him" is in hell. The part that did the killing. So when the friends travel there to save Maelorn, there's this "evil raven/crow" that guards it and it's vicious. But it doesn't harm them. It literally can't.

These are your characters and I have some fanfic going off. Like Celine after 300 years got into a position where they got a secret tunnel directed by Tesyla and stuff. Ugh!

Okay- one more thing.
There could be a cool adventure where they go on a quest back to hell with Tesyla because they want to take Maelorn because he discovered something and since he's a spirit and all- there's this cool quest. And part of Corvus' malice is there, but still helps them. Agh! Sorry!

And then you got cool stuff like since Maelorn's innate abilities can imbue into the sword so Varnorn can do special magical sword-elemental stuff or it can float back to him like Thor's hammer!

But what if Varnorn somehow seals Maelorn, with his approval, into a sword of his. So Maelorn can astral project within like, 10 yards of the sword. Maelorn's spirit is inside the sword alive!
