What leadership from #kansascity #kcmo is on here? Whomever is doing this patching and painting only the bare minimum they "have" to redo for street markings, this is silly. They should either be required to repaint the whole thing or in this case none at all, this looks worse. This is 7th & Walnut

Midtown, here we come! Streetcar testing on the Main Street Extension began today w/ the 1st southbound run to UMKC.
We will continue with testing, followed by operator training, for the next several months. This brings KC one step closer to riding in 2025!

Fear of upsetting the KC bike crew but having city staff hand dig out bike lanes when it's 20 degrees out may not be the best use of our city dollars.

I know this is a hard to resolve problem especially with this much snow but for urban areas where we did our job and cleaned our sidewalks only to have the "curb to curb" cleaning of the streets completely re-cover the sidewalks is pretty frustrating @mayorq.bsky.social

having the Downtown CID Yellowjackets digging out feet of snow by hand to clear out ADA corners is cruel. Let's rent them a piece of equipment.
