It’s time to get informed and get to work. Voters will soon be asked to weigh in on four policies targeting trans youth, women, and immigrants. We have two meetings where we'll share what's actually in these measures and what's at stake.

Colorado voters will decide in the November 2026 election whether to ban transgender youth from playing school sports AND whether to strip families of the right to access gender-affirming medical care for their children.
The Colorado Secretary of State has validated signatures for another ballot measure that targets transgender youth and their families.
A ballot initiative banning transgender youth from school sports has qualified for Colorado's November 2026 election. Add your name to say you will show up for trans youth with your vote: bit.ly/3PHFkPH
The initiative would ban transgender youth of any age from playing sports alongside their classmates. This tells trans kids they don't belong at an age when all kids need to feel included and supported.

Colorado Voters: These initiatives claim to protect kids, but in reality, they would ban trans youth from playing sports with their friends and strip away access to medically-necessary healthcare. Stay informed, stay engaged, and stand with Colorado's trans youth.
They are direct attacks on transgender kids and their families. All Colorado families deserve privacy and the ability to make decisions for themselves, and these initiatives undermine that ability.
Petitions for Ballot Initiatives #109 and #110 have been submitted to the Secretary of State's office, but they aren’t on the ballot yet. The signatures still need to be validated before these make it onto the ballot.
If you see ICE activity, call the Colorado Rapid Response Network (CORRN) to report it so it can be confirmed: 1-844-864-8341. Reporting is important to avoid rumors and false information that only stirs fear in our community.
Don’t sign any petition in support of Ballot Measures #109 and #110. The groups collecting signatures describe them as protecting children, but they attack the rights of Colorado children and families. National politics like these efforts don’t reflect our values. handsoffco.org

These are not Colorado values. They’re invasive measures disguised as “protection.” Let’s keep Colorado a place where every kid belongs and families can make decisions for themselves. #HandsOffColorado

There are 2 ballot petitions circulating that would take away rights from the families of trans youth (#109 and #110). One attacks their ability to play sports. The other tries to ban life-saving healthcare. If someone asks you to sign one, say no thanks, and tell your friends why. #HandsOffColorado
Colorado families don’t need national politics to tell them how to support their kids.
Outside interest groups are targeting our state and pushing policies that are out-of-step with Colorado values. We don’t need hateful solutions to made up problems. #handsoffcolorado

The U.S. Supreme Court just refused to take up a case against Poudre School District that claimed lessons or discussions about gender identity violate parental rights. That means the lower court’s decision where that argument was rejected still stands. This is a win for all students.
This case is another example of outside interests trying to control Colorado students and families. The case was argued by an attorney trained by the Alliance Defending Freedom, a group designated as an anti-LGBTQ+ hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Enough is enough. #HandsOffColorado
The Supreme Court of the United States denied an appeal of Lee v. Poudre School District that claimed teaching students about gender identity violates parental rights, meaning the Court will not hear the case and the decision of the lower courts rejecting this argument stands.

We stand with the most vulnerable, most targeted among us. We oppose initiatives #109 and #110 which serve no good purpose and exist simply to attack trans kids.
They need signatures from Coloradans to get these policies on our 2026 ballots, but we don't need them. If you are asked to sign a petition for Initiative #109 or Initiative #110, DON'T SIGN.
Right now, special interest groups are collecting signatures in support of policies imported from other states and designed to control Colorado kids and Colorado families.
We know they have been collecting them around Longmont, as well as other cities.

These efforts have to get a certain number of Colorado voters to sign a petition to get these exclusive policies put on our ballots in 2026. If someone asks you to sign a petition, make sure you read the whole thing. Don’t take their words at face value. #handsoffcolorado

Colorado’s ballot initiative process is being taken advantage of by special interest groups to specifically target one group of young people. There are efforts right now to prevent parents from getting the healthcare they need for their trans kids. #handsoffcolorado

These measures directly target trans youth and their families. They don’t represent Colorado values. Don’t be fooled by misleading titles – if you see these petitions, do not sign. #handsoffcolorado
Two dangerous ballot initiatives are circulating in Colorado right now: one would ban trans kids from playing school sports (#109), and another would ban gender-affirming care for youth (#110). #handsoffcolorado

If they are able to get enough signatures from Colorado voters, those policies will be on our 2026 ballots. We have to defeat these measures so Colorado’s kids can just be kids, and decisions about their lives are made between them and their parents. #handsoffcolorado
In recent years, Colorado has seen a wave of policy proposals that don’t come from our communities but from national groups looking to use our state as a testing ground. And right now those extremist groups are pushing two ballot initiatives that target LGBTQ+ youth. #handsoffcolorado handsoffco.org
