I've been trying to get back into collecting physical media and you've summed up every reason why I made the decision!

This is why I still enjoy collecting and watching DVDs/Blu-Rays every now and then, as I'd prefer to have physical copies that I know can be preserved for years to come. ✌️

A problem with media nowadays is a majority of content not getting proper physical releases. I understand if digital/streaming is more convenient, but the problem with media being "exclusives" to certain platforms is lack of preservation if the content in question gets removed or the platform goes-
