watching star detective precure is really funny as a guy who really liked wonderful and kimi to idol despite the like. barebone plot in both. like tbh i really enjoyed my time with idolpre, i loved all the characters. was it "written" with a "plot"? not really. but i had fun every week :)

kamen rider zeztz spoilers below // i know there’s different opinions on the familial affection that may or may not exist towards baku but it’s interesting to read bc in my opinion this reveal just made me hate zero even more. if we assume that the zeztz room was made to appeal to baku’s love of secret agents it just gets more sinister to me. because it Isn’t his love. that was programmed into him. every aspect of his life has been molded to the point that he would unconditionally trust zero. zero will never know baku’s true loves or even his real personality because baku never got the chance to have his own outside of code’s plan for him. he’s a possession or a doll. he was kept in the dark so he’d be blindly loyal and euthanized if he somehow went astray
