I've wanted to make a Batman/Green Arrow/The Question comic since I was literally a teenager. GA was my favorite character growing up. The Denny O'Neil/Denys Cowan Question book made a huge impact on me. I'm also really enjoying getting back to making comics! ARCADIA issue 1 is out in November.

One of my fave Emma moments i love how hickman must have been rooting through the back issues haha

I hate that it extends beyond who would win in a fight and legitimately effects people's enjoyment of a book if their favorite loses a battle. Insane behavior.

This week sees the release of a massive collection from DC that (finally!) reprints my Dr. Fate run with Keith Giffen, Shawn McManus, and several other artistic titans. I wrote an introduction for the book and you can read it over at my website.

Ah gotcha, thanks! I just got really into him like a year or so ago and there's so many disparate collections floating around haha. I've just been picking up the new stuff and mad caves classic reprints which I'm hoping continue.

It's so good! Also if you don't mind me asking what is the dark horse flash volume on your shelf with the 4?

I know some of you are always on the fence about trying a new series. I get it.

If this helps, the review aggregator site comicbookroundup has WE'RE TAKING EVERYONE DOWN WITH US tied for 3rd in best reviewed current comic series.

Tarrifs are so bad on foreign movies, we can't afford 400 Blows, it can be like 2 Blows at best. Seven Samurai? You're lucky you get one kid with a pocket knife.

Love when the vampire says "I want your stories"

Lol my immediate thought was that if they ever adapt American vampire now it's gonna have a tough time bc the bar just got shot into outer space.

Join us back in 1985, the year that gave us Adam and his pick The Dreamer by Will Eisner. A semi-autobiographical story of Eisner’s rise and the story of comics itself. It’s a love letter to comics as told in one of the first “Graphic novels.”

Join us for Shaun's pick from 1988, Batman: The Cult by Jim Starlin, Bernie Wrightson, and Bill Wray. We find Batman at his lowest as he gets drawn into an underground murder cult. We explore cult ideology, the masterful work of the creative team, and giant monster trucks!
