He was a DINO the whole time.
I can only assume that his support for Israel's ability to kill citizens of any country, in any quantity they want is so important to him, that he will support opposite views on tax, regulation, military & healthcare in his own country.
Sounds like a shitty citizen

If the value of houses drops below the cost of construction, then no new housing will be built.
Land had no such lower limit & land is a majority of what people think of as house costs. My house is insured for 35% of what it would sell for. The difference is land value

Sure, if the utility demand curve has lower net demand at night than mid day. Maybe in UK, scandanavia or Oklahoma. Wouldn't work in places with more PV supply than wind & PV predominates in most places & is growing faster

Funny, funny how.
Do I make you laugh, funny?

Nope. Our version is also squarely on Pope's side. It's not the book, it's interpretation.
Let's be honest, the Catholic Church has not always been on the right side, either. They once preached support for Nazis. One reason I'm a lapsed Catholic.

I think the only practical way to make steady money is to charge at home from PV during the day & discharge at night. Would be nice for a 2nd car or work from home.
Could make some $ during extreme grid shortages, but those are infrequent

The only falsehood round here is that cars are not a problem

No street is quiet with cars. City streets are quiet without them.
The only path to zero deaths is limiting speed limits < 25 mph.
The simple geometry of a single person in a car occupying 90 sqft & up to 7 parking spots/ car is ruining & bankrupting cities

So true.
Have you looked at the demand for quiet streets, clean air or a livable planet? I'm not sure how to measure demand for fewer maimings & deaths, but I bet it's near infinity.

2022 & 2011 were much better economically for me than 2026. I have the same job, same house & same cars.
Maybe it's just me, but I doubt it.

Uh, buy a ticket from NY to a place in NJ, then another ticket from NJ to the stadium.
Lawyers & politicians will never devise rules that a common person or union rep can't get around

In this case the only wrong answer is not enough housing. I don't think upzoning will ever lead to less housing than a scenario without upzoning.
It might not be enough goodness to spur development, but I don't think it can ever lead to the wrong place.
(Unless you upzone fire & flood prone areas)

Upzoning allows market forces to work. Upzoning everywhere allows developers to build we here demand is highest & therefore most profitable. The fact that some upzoned areas do not immediately add a lot more housing is not bad for upzoning. Indeed, it's required to let markets function.

I don't get microreactors.
This one is only 25% efficient, not great. The heat byproduct is not useful in many locations for much of the yr.
Most importantly, 15 MW doesn't pay for a lot of security & you'd need dozens of these for a college campus. These are distributed dirty bombs in waiting

You can't be a traitor to a political party.
We just need more progressives in Congress. Preferably forming their own caucus

I don't want to vote for a billionaire, but they aren't giving me much of a choice.
Everyone knows it's too expensive to live in CA, but nobody is willing to address root cause - the land your house sits on has to become less valuable.

I'm not gonna believe that good guys with guns exist until somebody stands up against these violent thugs in black.

I love that he is bashing Trump, cause of the war. Not convinced catholic church is full anti fascist yet, but I don't know what he has said about Hungary or anti-immigratiom parties in Europe

I am seriously sick of mainstream politicians supporting & cheering settlements and Israeli murder of Palestinians, Lebanese, Iranians & US citizens.
I will warmly welcome better balance in Congress.

Only northern Europe will become uninhabitable. We are ok with those climate refugees coming here.

I see no reason for concern, unless gas prices go up another penny

A good start, but approval by the primary advocate for car dominance is bad optics, bad policy and bad precedent.
