#StarfleetAcademy is a really, really great series. Brilliant cast, engaging stories, totally original but Star Trek in its DNA. It’s phenomenal when you think of the journey that franchise has been on for the last 60 years.

I will never understand writers who use generative AI. For me, the act of writing—the actual act of putting pen to paper or typing on a keyboard—is deeply fulfilling. The very act of creation—yes, it’s joyful and exciting. Why the fuck would you rob yourself of that happiness? FUCK AI

Caught another writer using AI & they were promptly let go.

I can not stress this enough: Any editor worth anything can AND WILL catch you if you're using AI to write. It's not slick, it's not subtle, & so many behavioral patterns beyond the writing are dead giveaways.

Do the work or get out.
