Keyboard shortcuts to change text color without lifting my fingers from the keyboard. Red for placeholder text, green for things I need to fact-check, blue for wording that sucks, black for final-ish text. Somehow color-coding a first draft makes it easier for me to let a sentence be bad & move on.

For a minute I misinterpreted this as about the moving walkways, rather than the boxes that take you to concourse D or whatever it is, and felt very bad for the poor a cappella group that isn't allowed to sing anything but "greep greep, moms and dads / greep greep, college grads"

My favorite moon-related things are mostly probably too personal for the internet, but my silly favorite this week is that my parents live in a state that has Krispy Kreme and I don't, so they made a special trip to go get the Artemis II donuts and froze one to give me when I'm in town next month. 💙

Took today off to prep for a con I'm going to w/friends who are visiting. Big thing I have left to do is debug the Arduino controller software, which is not a great vacation from debugging my GCM setup, but my warmup task was getting the BD unit's head LEDs working and I am _so_ thrilled with them.

Have you noticed an uptick lately?
