These are dates crew are required for the next couple of Traitors series, as revealed by job adverts. Other pic: a large gap in James Acaster's otherwise packed touring schedule.
Deduct a couple of days from the start & end for rigging etc, and: Acaster seems likely to be doing Celebrity Traitors

It was... quite an odd and confusing DM! The link asked for my Twitter username and password in quite a convincing manner, glad I didn't supply it. Hope you get the account back!
Assume you mean $500 million *a year*? Even so, that's not actually that much money in the grand scheme of things. In terms of NYC city budgets. It's a neat little idea - I hope you've got more, bigger ones
Shout out to the guy next to me at Sainsbury's Beckton, cheerfully buying over 100 half price Easter eggs 🤟
Top five SNLUK moments:
1. The skincare advert
2. "Saddam Walliams"
3. The beeping lime 'bike'
4. What kind of Irish is your grandad
5. "also: I'm older than I look"
Him and Ed Night spent two days workshopping jokes for the appearance. I mean, if you know you're appearing with her you would go digging around her socials for ammo, wouldn't you
Okay so I am the first journalist in the world to report back on huge new shows from James Acaster and Olga Koch. 🍨 Plus: Ross Noble, Dan Tiernan, Creepy Boys, and Rosa Garland's show featured the wildest moment I've EVER witnessed in a comedy show (DM for deets) www.comedy.co.uk/live/feature...
Four huge names in this roundup. Russell Howard, Joanne McNally (Taskmaster/My Therapist Ghosted Me), Josh Johnson (Daily Show, enormous on socials), and hipster icon Kate Berlant.
Two of the shows I really liked, two I basically disliked. Any guesses which? 😬 www.comedy.co.uk/live/feature...
These are the dates production crew are expected to be on-site, according to job adverts. A few days either side could well be for setting up and packing away everything, no?
Is James Acaster booked for Celebrity Traitors 2? 🧵
Firstly, he's touring quite heavily until July, but there's this big gap in the middle
We worked hard on getting these nominations just right actually, so please vote and make good choices. I'm scared about how the public votes will go
Every comedian's dream notification 😍
It's been such a huge few days in the news, so obviously I rushed to find out what the big Adrian Chiles hot take would be
TV REVIEW: nice to have Mock the Week back
In the last three days, The Times has reviewed Louis CK and The Guardian has reviewed Stephen K Amos 🤮
This is the award I set up, actually, because of the ludicrous amount of talent in the comedy industry that isn't getting the recognition it deserves
Now seen every Best Newcomer nominee from last year's Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and seems like a historically weak list? Definitely the weakest this side of covid. Kate Owens + Elouise Eftos your clear standouts. Sharon Wanjohi wasn't nominated but seems a more gifted comic than all of them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And I'm sorry but Mr Beast is a fool. He keeps talking about how much of a loss he made making the show. Oh, I'm sorry, you were negotiating budgets with Amazon - the infinite money company - and your production made a huge loss? You are a generationally bad negotiator x
But you wonder if we'll ever see the likes of it again, in terms of it being a product of an era where streamers were throwing vast pots of money around to try and achieve market share. That, plus a decent number of good ideas, make it a pretty fascinating watch
A few challenges seem to unfairly disadvantage women. And the pacing - pleasingly galloping to begin with - has slowed to an awful sludge by the end
And it's all so self-aggrandising too. Which they lay on particularly thick in the final episode 🤮
There's a fair few good ideas in there, though not enough to sustain ten episodes. The moments when the show feels like it actually has a moral compass feel pretty fleeting, which only makes it all easier to dislike
It's certainly a compelling watch though. The vast money they have to throw around. "Let's spend $5 million dollars purely on a cliffhanger going into the final episode, why not?"
It's just all so innately unlikable. A vast budget, but nobody thought they should try and find likable contestants? Or anybody likable on the presenting team? Serious questions to be asked of the contestant-casting team, as a minimum
Lord forgive me, I have finished watching Beast Games series one. The biggest-budget reality TV show ever. I have thoughts 🧵
I’ve spent this morning morbidly watching the MTV channels close down and the final songs played were:
MTV Music - Video Killed the Radio Star (Buggles)
Club MTV - Don’t Stop the Music (Rihanna)
MTV 90s - Goodbye (Spice Girls)
MTV 80s - Together in Electric Dreams (Oakey and Moroder)
