Or at least it is the one i come across most regularly.
What other answers do people almost universally refuse to question?
Posts by Gwen Da Lough
But social rules where we intuit the correct answer without even needing to think.
So what are the Answers we don't want to question, people tend to react very negatively to the idea that sex is a social construct, that is a deeply held belief which next to no-one wants questioned.
The premise is that we are not natural scientists, and rather than seeking truth, we seek affirmation in favour of some kind of social cohesion.
Counter examples being something we do not naturally reason towards.
"Answers we don't question."
Watching this earlier, and they have a really good phrase that I think they don't go into any depth on, but such a good episode.

Chess playing engines have had a huge impact on the chess scene, mostly learning from them... But I doubt humans have anything to learn from running robots...
The Gender Recognition Bill adopted this precise rule, expanding upon it through the addition of evidentiary requirements. This ensured the Bill is aligned with the 1999 Regulations. Essentially, during this period, there was a ping-pong between the courts and the legislature. The courts asked, are you certain, and can you be more specific? Parliament answered, yes, and here is the detailed rule. Neither the government nor the legislature had to concede to the Court of Appeal's interpretation that the 1999 Regulations failed to recognise a change in sex, and indeed, they did not. By enacting the Gender Recognition Act, they were explicitly telling the court that the previous ambiguity no longer mattered, as a change in sex was now recognised for all purposes, including equality law. Despite the ping-pong between the courts and the legislature, the House of Lords Appellate Committee's warning that recognising a different sex for different legal purposes would cause difficulties, and the clear line of authority from the European Court of Justice, the Supreme Court ruled in 2025 that the phrase "for all purposes" excluded the purposes of equality law.
I’ve finally got the time to put everything I know into writing. Again, hopefully, I’ll finish it next week. ☺️
Aye, seems like a wedge isssue to push their ideology onto everyone.
Part religion, part colonial thinking, fully ignorant of the beauty of human diversity!

Wes Streeting’s harmful attack on bodily autonomy for trans youth is exactly the same as that of the US extreme right wing MAGA fascists.
Wes Streeting’s transphobia is part of a global far-right agenda of ending safe & legal abortion.
Every “Gender critical” is a gullible handmaiden of this.
Deliberately targeting both Jewish researchers and Trans+ people, Hitler kicked off his book burning at the Hirschfeld Institute of Sexual Research - destroying vital medical papers and deeply personal histories, including those of Dora, who had undergone some of the earliest affirming surgeries
I've never met such 'leopards won't eat my face' type stupidity... Well maybe one libtarian trans woman full of the brain worms, but...
How does 5% of the trans community support Trump? That sounds too big to be a statistical error...
Barriers to sports access for LGBTQ+ people are a stain on our sporting communities.
For many including members of the LGBTQ+ community, sports is a lifeline.
Inclusion for all can't be just a phrase – it requires active work.
Two doors - the ‘male’ entrance is wide and square like a door. The ‘woman’ entrance is a cutout of a very thin long haired woman in heels.
This cartoon by Naked Pastor is SO GOOD. Sums up what I’ve been saying for ages about what happens when you start gatekeeping womanhood (and spoiler alert it’s the opposite of feminism).
Oh. So there's actually laws that tackle pervert men entering women's toilets after all? Funny how he didn't feel the need to pretend to be a woman to do what he did. It's almost as if trans women aren't the enemy or issue here. Well that's that 'debate' well & truly settled then isn't it? *Sigh* 😑
If Trump's tiff with the pops is what breaks his populism I just don't know .. .
Most people like to distinguish between Artists work and AI interpretation... Particularly when you can prompt an Artists with "the absorption spectrum looks like it has iron in the atmosphere..." And the artist can actually look up the colour of iron compounds...
Did he not join a cult?
No.
Text reads: The International Olympic Committee’s recent decision to reintroduce ‘sex testing’ for athletes is more likely to exclude women identified as female at birth than trans women, experts have said, as opposition to the policy change grows. Athletes, governments and experts have been objecting to the genetic sex testing that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) plans to reintroduce – including the scientist who originally identified the SRY gene that the tests check for.
The French government opposes the ban on trans women in Olympic women’s events, saying enforced genetic testing is an invasion of privacy 👉 www.wearequeeraf.com/understand-the-lgbtqia-n...
Cis people: just nip over to your GP to feel a little perkier by taking some T.
Trans people: just spend 5 years on a waiting list, go through a few psychiatric assessments, and if you survive that then you might get a prescription for exactly the same HRT.

Doesn't mention neurodivergent people, sadly.
That's awesome "Introduce a comprehensive ban on conversion therapy covering all settings, such as
religious, informal, community, family-based and therapeutic, with clear protections

Can you ban Conversion Therapy practices?
Including ABA used in autistic kids, comphet conversion on asexual teens, and 'gender exploratory therapy' for trans folks.

How come one nominee is recorded as having so many million Youtube views, while another just has their subscriber count listed.
Makes it hard to judge...
It has to stop being seen as speech at some point.
We don't have the first and second amendments, where you self-cejsor, because pissing off the wrong white man may result in him drawing a loading firearm... We live in what is a rather more civil society.
