A weird day indeed. I respect the church's right to exist, but the US government can get stuffed.
If you're wondering how the blockade is landing, this has been making its way around the naval nerds today
my very beautiful and boopable Bruno. He's had the cloudy eye since birth and the vet hasn't been concerned. Anyone seen this before and can tell me what's going on? #dogs #dogsofbluesky

The slow growth of a large sand spit as it intrudes into Melbourne's Altona Beach, captured by #Sentinel2 ๐ฐ๏ธ
This spit has been moving towards Altona for about 25 years now, averaging 50 metres of growth per year since 2000. It's now over 1.3 km long with no sign of slowing down!
Can confirm, this is what I see from Australia
In the spirit of silly place names... this is one of the fires I was mapping today
The day is not done yet. A few reports of structure fires too. Around 3 times the size of the LA fires. Thankfully not the same population base!
63000ha and growing. Dimboola fighting it now. :-(
Don't! I'm sure we could let you stay
I hated the admin role I was assigned in fire management, so did what I could to sit with the other mappers because that was the most interesting. 18 years later I am a Geospatial Analyst full time in a fire service!
Please let me introduce you to my doggos, Bruno (Chocolate Lab) and Tassadar (Border Collie/Kelpie) #dogs
My daughter drew this cutie for me! (she's on insta @orange_enthusiast)
Checking out the #atlascomet from Horsham, Vic, Australia
This was a gem of a place name that I stumbled across today. Yes, you can climb up and enjoy the view from Policeman's Knob.
A map of the Knobs of Victoria, showing funny names of rocky outcrops and hills.
I really shouldn't be left to my own devices when playing with datasets...
