I almost forgot how much I have enjoyed teaching since first leading a class 8years ago. Although teaching now in a non-native language triples my preparation time, the detailed preparation helps me better grasp the texts. If I decide to stay in academia, the joy of teaching might be a major reason!

Teaching seminars last term reignited my academic interests. The undergraduates’ enthusiasm in the topics of the sessions reminded me of the importance of sharing my knowledge, and I was encouraged (and flattered) when a student asked if I taught other courses in the final session.
