Brilliant to see @DAIISTAR heading back to the UK and playing @sneakypetesclub.
Get all over this! 👌👌
I don’t post much these days, but this one is worth sharing. The new single from a band that never fail to hit the spot…quality over quantity every time from @sunstinger.
Listen, share, delve into their back catalogue…you’ll not regret it 👊

Simply a brilliant singer and songwriter…Daniel McGeever, You’re Coming Home, from his debut album Cross The Water.

We go again…this time the Oslo Twins at Sneaky Pete’s
Loving discovering Australian band HYLA…like many Oz bands of this genre they have the prefect blend of #shoegaze, #dreampop and #melody. They’ve been around for a few years now and have 3 albums. This track is from their 2021 release Caravel.

Tickets in the bag…if you want a great night out, watching a fantastic live band, then get on this.
Alright Keith…we ordered ours 5th Dec when they came online and had it delivered by end Dec. Yours still not arrived yet? When did you order?
Caught Edinburgh singer songwriter Daniel McGeever for the first time tonight and was really impressed with his emotive set…well worth a listen.

Some ‘Sunstinger’ to kick off Friday morning. The brilliant Aro from their 2024 EP ‘Worthless’. If you’ve never wrapped your ears around this EP then you are missing out! 👌👌

Loved seeing the extended DIG! XX documentary on the big screen at Edinburgh’s Cameo cinema tonight. An absolute classic/car crash of a documentary. Nice foreword by Dave Grohl and nice to round things off by bringing things up to date.

Touched down in Barcelona for a few days away with my wife at a 11am and picked up this nugget within the first couple of hours…not the sightseeing my wife was expecting! 😆
I think it’s great…it’s definitely a shift, but feels a natural progression and landed with me first listen. Literally just back from seeing them live and they were superb; one of the best live bands around at the moment. The new songs sounded epic live.
Simply one of the best live bands going…. @smellybdrmm.bsky.social at the Classic Grand. A sonic assault from start to finish, as their new electronic sound merged with epic guitars to deliver a fantastic set. A band that comes alive on stage and always delivers. Brilliant! 👏👏
A wee Motown 7 inch haul after a mooch around a couple of Edinburgh record stores today. 😀
A new discovery for me…LOW-RES from Stockholm 🇸🇪
This is there latest album of 3. Mixing the electronic sound of the 80s, with dream pop and shoegaze soundscapes to create a fantastic collection of tunes. There 2023 release ‘Darfor’ is also fantastic.

Another cracking release from @blankenberge.bsky.social, one of the best exponents of modern shoegaze. Shaping up to be another brilliant album.

A brilliant Saturday night gig watching Manchester’s Pastel. Mashing together all of the best sounds of the 90s to create a great sound, that landed so well with the crowd in Cabaret Voltaire. Excellent support from The Volts and an impressive young band called Borderline.
Very tempted to head over from Edinburgh…really good line up and would be a good day or so away.
It’s a definite 5/5 for me…there best album to date.
Picking mine up from Assai in a few hours, but couldn’t wait to listen to it! 😀
This is one of my most anticipated albums and it doesn’t disappoint. Hit the mark on first listen. It is a big shift in their sound, but it feels like a natural progression and is still distinctly BDRMM. Undoubtedly going to be one of the albums of the year. Should be epic live.
Flyying Colours, Hotline TNT and Alvvays.
Not sure what the 4th one is 🙂
Great set of albums…3 out of the 4 are favourites of mine.

Another epic evening with @mogwai.scot as they closed their European tour at the Usher Hall tonight. Mixing songs from their brilliant new album, with their back catalogue, they once again delivered their signature wall of sound.
Really looking forward to the new album and catching them live in a few weeks. This will be my 6th time seeing them and they get better each time. One of the best bands out there.
