Einige Patient:innen mit PCS erfüllen die Kriterien von ME/CFS. Sobald pathomechanistisch besser verstanden ist, wie sich die beiden Erkrankungen unterscheiden oder überschneiden, wird sich auch die klinische und begriffliche Einordnung weiter schärfen.
Danke für den Hinweis. ME/CFS wurde im Artikel bewusst dort erwähnt, wo symptomatische oder therapeutische Überschneidungen mit PCS bestehen. Beide Krankheitsbilder zeigen teils überlappende, aber auch eigenständige Muster – wir sehen beides regelmäßig in der Praxis. (Zweiter Teil folgt).
