The cover of White Denim's album "D" features a large collage of images, including paintings and possibly photography. The top of the collage features a lattice-like visual with many colors. The overall shape, lattice shape, and several indiviual collage elements (including a hand holding flowers) is the same as The Esquires "Get On Up And Get Away" album artwork.
The cover of The Esquires single "Get On Up And Get Away" features a collage of cutouts fro other albums. The top of the collage has a lattice like visual in black. It is the exact same overall shape and has the same lattice (except for color) as White Denim's D.
The single artwork for Chuck Johnson and Maxine Brown's "Hold On, We're Coming" featuring the pair holding hands and doing a light skip or jump against a blue backdrop. The Esquire's album cover features both Johnson and Brown, cutout from this album artwork and place in different positions in the new one.
The single artwork for The Shirelles "Baby It's You" featuring the members of the group around a man in a dark suit. The women wear yellow dresses with thin straps and frill. The Esquires album artwork takes the faces and shoulders of the two members of the group who are seated on the ground in this album cover and rearranges them in the new artwork.
White Denim's album artwork for "D" (2010) is a reconstituted version of the single artwork for The Esquire's "Get On Up And Get Away" (1967), which is itself a collection of cutouts from other record covers.
Love to agree here.
An image taken from an L.A. Times article about new music venues in Southern California. The image is of "The Starlight Cabaret" but features obvious indicia of AI image generation, including jumbled text and disproportioned design features.
Why does this article feature AI images of what are supposedly real buildings?
I mean, come on.

Looking back to look ahead. Our list arrives in the spirit of sharing, and we’re back with our annual Year In Review. As always the following is unranked and unruly. Let it blurb.

told my family the new U2 track was actually really good and had them going for the first eight seconds of Crazy Town's "Butterfly"
Because BlueSky was created the in the interim, I don't know that the legends Twin Peaks, one of the best Chicago bands of the century, are playing shows next year (for the first time in year)
I would put more money on continuing to harvest infinite energy from the sun over assuming that forcing everyone to use The Machine The Lies To You is the steady basis of an entire economy

Gonna disrespectfully disagree. It’s a highlight of their recoded history, within one of their finest recorded takes, along side some of their best vocal performances. I will defend this position with force.
Thank you for honoring our amazing @celtics Father Bill

I feel Whitney K's music is on par with the best stuff going on right now, and their latest, "Bubble" is their best yet. Interviewed Konner about the band and his process for @aquariumdrunkard.com and really appreciate how he opened up about it.

Beyond warning our neighbors of checkpoints, I think the primary goal of protesters encountering ICE and HSI agents should be to try to shame them into quitting their jobs. A big lift -- unlike the Guard they signed up for this shit -- but a good goal regardless

Anyway, if you're gonna write or opinion on Trump's comments about Roger Clemens, and you center it solely on the Hall of Fame and steroids, you are committing journalistic malpractice. If you need a refresher, start here. pitcherlist.com/bbwaa-is-era...
Photo of armed customs and border patrol agents and cars on the plaza in front of the Japanese American National Museum in Little Tokyo.
We are outraged and deeply distressed that armed federal agents came onto our campus—making arrests on the very ground where, in 1942, Japanese American families were forced to board buses bound for concentration camps. It was a deliberate act of provocation and intimidation.
