One of the more emotionally affecting things of my transition was hearing of a cis woman saying it felt empowering to know that in a world like ours that so routinely hates women, there are people who actively choose to be one and find worth and value in that choice

My back injury mirrors that of the one in 2022 in its pain and incapacitation, except lessened because I had that cervical fusion surgery in late 2023 so I can still feel/use my arm, it just hurts and breathing hurts and waking up hurts

A place cannot be 'claustrophobic'. It can make *you* feel claustrophobic, giving you a fear of small, cramped spaces, but to describe a place as claustrophobic is to say the location itself *experiences* this fear, which is stupid in common speech (but potentially neat in supernatural horror)
