A GPS Roadmap for your life.” The event takes place Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at CUNY New York City College of Technology, 285 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY. Subway access includes A, C, F, R trains to Jay Street–MetroTech and 2, 3, 4, 5 trains to Borough Hall. A QR code is included for registration. The flyer notes that a $100 stipend will be provided (registration and student ID required) and that lunch is provided. This takedown is one part of our comprehensive strategy to drive down shootings across Brooklyn. Our success in focusing on the drivers of crime while also working with community groups on preventative efforts, led to record low gun violence with major declines in Brownsville.

Today, we filed an indictment against two individuals charged with the senseless murder of 7-month-old Kaori Patterson-Moore in a shooting that also wounded her 2-year-old brother. I promised the family justice; we will not rest until these individuals are held fully accountable.
