He really thinks he invented space travel. Because Space Force. He started it. We'd be nowhere without him.

Power corrupts. Doesn't matter if the power comes from the Fascist right or the Socialist left. Didn't anyone notice that life in Nazi Germany and Communist USSR was similar from a Human rights standpoint: there were no rights. The state dictated behavior. Obey or suffer.

Gorka dresses like Oswald-McLovin

Can we not also take this time to smack Sebastian Gorka, aka, "Zsa Zsa Gaborka", "McLovin", the alt-right Hungarian-American, self-proclaimed "Hungarian Order of the Valiant" (a pro-Nazi group) title holder, self-proclaimed antiterrorism expert, USA immigrant, and former advisor to Viktor Orban.

Also Left: sanctimonious, recalcitrant, entitled, lacking in personal responsibility, really really bad with money.

Only 3 replies and yet my faith in Humanity has dwindled.

Her question is already in its simplest form. His response is "bad faith" because he's pretending not to understand it. He's doing this because his "good faith" answer is "No" but that would cost him votes and influence.

Why should everyone "respond this way", exactly? Because it gets some ataboys from the snark crowd?

He knows what she means and pretending not to. Pedantry. Empty rhetoric. Just answer the question. If you have to qualify your answer then do so.

Something tells me that a Lindsey Graham ancestor could be found in the middle of every lynch mob in South Carolina, going back to, oh, I'd say about 1866, issuing statements similar to this. He's a shameless coward. Just the kind the GOP wants in congress.

It's a common pattern in US culture: When a father feels his son is leaning in the unmanly direction, the father slaps a gun in the boy's hands to "man 'em up".

Evidently, Lindsey's manhood issues continue to weigh on him.

Rightly so.

This man is an actor. Full makeup and costume. Practices his gestures in the mirror and home mock sessions.

But he's usually "take the money and run", not "bleed money and run".

This is from a January 2026 party at Caligula's palace, i.e., Mar-a-Lago. I see a few service industry folks here. Performative services. Adult erotic performance service providers. But no truckers or cops. bsky.app/profile/patr...

FULL: Republican Celebration At White House After House Obamacare Repeal (FNN)
FULL: Republican Celebration At White House After House Obamacare Repeal (FNN) YouTube video by LiveNOW from FOX

That still is from DJT's first term wherein the Ryan-led GOP first and totally capitulated to daddy donnie. Ryan, Oren Hatch and other GOP took turns at the podium kissing donnie's ass. A ritual that has repeated often around the big table in the WH. ๐Ÿคฎ

Blonde ambition: Kelly will say and do anything to get back to donnie's inner circle.

She knows well that his favorite thing in the world is to lash out recklessly, stoked by some barroom bluster, and then shirk responsibility when things go sideways.

"Blame his advisors", is trending at the WH.

I wish this were a case of the crowd re-thinking it's position on DTJ.

Unfortunately, it's more likely the case that they cheered because they thought they were supposed to. Persuasion by tone of voice. No digesting what the man actually said. A well-behaved flock of animals following a leader.

US will unleash 'drone dominance' by fast-tracking production
US will unleash 'drone dominance' by fast-tracking production YouTube video by New York Post

You mean we haven't established "drone dominance" over our adversaries?

Maybe that's because our unqualified unserious SecDef (not 'war'), who dresses like a 3rd-string QB turned ESPN sportscaster, thinks these r/c toys qualify as military drones.

That's spot-on my experience: Had Twitter '16 - '22. Dropped after the Musk purchase. Restarted 2023 in order to read posts linked to from elsewhere. Despite my preferences, ~ 1/2 of my daily feed was rabble-stoking posts from the narcissist messiah Musk. It was bad; he made it worse. Deleted again.

The knee-jerk POTUS.

His tenure, a series of juvenile knee-jerk impulses, all duct taped together by his Waylon Smithers staff to approximate a coherent strategy. DJT, who declared in 2020 that the GOP would no longer declare a platform. No platform. No foundation. No constitution. No wonder.

I just rewatched Chernobyl on HBO. Anyone else? Asking here for no reason in particular.

FYI, Chernobyl the series one of the best things ever put on screen.

Hegseth is a zealot like Lancel Lannister from GoT.

Hegseth's Faith Militant is taking shape.

The next sane POTUS will spend half their time and resources cleaning the trump-stink out of the system, i.e., fixing everything he's broken at a foundational level.

He just spews out truisms as best he can remember from the briefing his staff gave him. Or that he gleaned from one of his internet conspiracy theorist groups.

Lies are the air that DJT breaths. @walshfreedom.bsky.social 's point is, you can't trust a goddam word that comes out of trump's mouth. That flaw is never more damaging than in times of conflict. You can't trust the purported facts or the motive. The #1 reason he should not be POTUS.

All of the credit and none of the blame.

If donnie gets bad advice its because he only hires yes men loyalists. Truthfulness is mocked. He deems qualifications and experience to mean "part of the establishment".

The gist of every interview of a trump toady, like Bessent: "Everything DJT says or does is right, by definition."

This idiotic POTUS conducts warfare communication via social media post. He issues commands and argues his positions via social media. These comms need to over secure channels. Post after you're done work, not as a central tool of your work.

It's his ego that motivates this reckless behavior.

Don't forget, in 2021 and 2022, Kushner received a $2 billion dollar "investment" from the Saudi PIF cabal after several years of "negotiating" in the region during donnie's first term. I suspect Kushner's investment management fees have totaled about ... oh ... $2 billion ... since then.
