Whatever happens to Project: Eden’s Garden, this is not the end. I have so many people to be thankful for.

You never start from zero when you begin again.

I know that’s not healthy. I was young when I made that my username.

I’m stubborn. No matter how much shit I’ve dealt with, the licks, the scars, and everything never working out, I always have something to reach for. I sometimes see my light year goals get an itch closer and know it’s possible.

Yes, my username is Pipedream. That’s not a coincidence. I picked this name to represent me because I knew that my dreams for my life were too grand and not achievable. I labeled myself as a failure so I couldn’t be surprised when it didn’t work out. But I always fought to overcome the label I made

Especially in the modern state of the games industry, with how much money and effort I’ve put forth to fighting for a place in an industry that chews people up and spits them out, trust me; I’ve time and time again thought of just saying this dream is not worth pursuing anymore.

Of course, I understand that lessons learned, friends made, and a project that meant something does not make it a waste of time by any means. I’m forever grateful for everything PJEG gave me.

What sucks is that I can’t really point to this project when looking for future work without an asterisk.

On a personal note, it really sucks that the one thing with traction and a following big enough to turn heads and give your work a reputation and potentially kickstart your career can just go away overnight. 5 years of work and we only made it so far.

As it currently stands, I’m stepping away from Project: Eden’s Garden as Sound Lead.

Thank you to everyone who played the game and complimented the audio work our team poured into it. Your support kept me going.

Doing the SendouQ Finale and LUTI Tonight streams today (wish me luck), and I’m reminded that I wanted to do a behind-the-scenes video at some point of streaming events from home. Like an over the shoulder camera view of me scrambling behind my computer and communicating with comms on breaks.

This can be boosted just by knowing the teams and their histories. I just know personally that in the past 3 sendouq finales when Moonlight and Hypernova have faced off, it’s been Moonlight 3-1 Hypernova every single time. Could be fun to build a potential underdog story for that set.

My general thoughts is someone who can weave the action we’re all seeing into a story. I feel anyone can just *say* what’s happening, but context matters. Who are these teams? What does this match mean to them? What’s on the line if they win/lose? Tie in everything to make the audience care about em

Thank god, I don’t think I could handle the Pats taking the lead in Super Bowls won.

Saw Iron Lung yesterday. After years of keeping up with the progress of the movie, it’s everything I’d hoped it would be and more. Suspenseful film with the cosmic horror vibe I love.

Very excited that it’s finally out and I got to see it.

I’d give it a 4/5 for me personally.

If I had a nickel for every time the Steelers brought in someone to the organization that beat them in their last Super Bowl appearance to be in a significant role for the team, I’d have 2 nickels.

But well played to the Texans. Yeah, you made a lot of mistakes, but we could never make anything of it. I wish yall the best against New England. We can’t have them getting a 7th Super Bowl before us 😏

For a season I was more interested in because of the entertainment value of watching Rodgers, not even because I like him, but because I don’t, I can’t say it wasn’t entertaining at points.

But can we please just try to make a solid team rather than expecting stale stardom to get us wins.

I’ve seen people with their custom badges they’ve made for any con at LANs, so that’s not unusual.

I wasn’t able to get a badge for MAGFest this year with them selling out so quick. I hope everyone going has a great time and makes amazing memories!

I would have put Ninajirachi's album on here, but I didn't really listen to it in full, but it's a really good album

I’m gonna try to do what I did in 2021 and listen to 100 albums that came out that year and log it. That was fun then and I want to do it more

I know that Revengeseekerz and Even in Arcadia aren’t here with obvious others. I just wasn’t that into them which was disappointing to me. Honorable mention to Alienation by Three Days Grace. I love that Adam is back and the albums good, I’d never put it top 5 though
