Thunderbolts* was spectacular. I had high expectations & was still blown away, just giddy the entire way. I haven’t felt this paid off for having kept up with the MCU post-endgame, and I haven’t felt this excited for the future since then either. Plus the characters & their chemistry were amazing.
Dread Metroid Suit skin (or even just a color swap referencing it) in the next Smash & Demon King Ganondorf in HW Age of Imprisonment are the best we’re gonne get out of these I’d bet :/

It's so fascinating to see the range of people who loved this Direct and those who say "could have been an email". People can have a very broad meter of tastes. It's maddening when someone tries to convince another that something they watched was not as good as they think. Don't do that.

Are these now the only Nintendo franchises (with multiple entries) that aren’t on Switch at all? Would love to see Chibi Robo remastered to gauge public interest!! Nintendogs & Pushmo’s absences are definitely weird in my opinion.
Reviving Tomodachi & Rhythm Heaven after over 10 years, updates on Metroid Prime 4 & Pokémon Legends ZA (though I wish we saw Megas), lifestyle news app, digital transfers, and a few nice looking indies. Honestly for having low expectations it was good! Really exciting time to be a Nintendo tan

So on one hand, it’s cool to see them focusing on characters we’ll have seen more recently (F4, Thunderbolts, Cap/Falcon) to help continuity feel stronger. However, it makes me worry more for characters who we haven’t seen in a while & are still MIA (Hulks, Strange, Moon Knight, Vision, Hawkeyes)

Common Side Effects is the best show that I hear too little about. Animated show on Max by Mike Judge and the folks behind Scavenger’s Reign (another banger.) It’s hilarious, surprising, moving and profoundly relevant. Full recommendation.
