We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

The following thread is a work of fiction. It was originally published on Twitter/X in July of 2021. In 2022, it was one of the finalists for a Hugo award in the "Best Short Story" category.

I'm… going to be thinking about this one for a while

16 years ago, I found myself in the back garden of a couple I'd just met, as they showed me their pillow fighting arena. The lesson they taught me about games - especially competitive ones - has stayed with me ever since, but I forgot to mention it in interviews when asked if competition is bad. So:
