CRANE scholars will also have access to workshops on applying to internships and individual help with applications. We hope that from these experiences, students will enter their scientific careers with the confidence and skills they need to pursue research.
This series is developed and run primarily by plasma physics and astronomy graduate students across the US who are underrepresented in their respective fields. We aim to equip students with valuable computational skills and create opportunities to support and advance their research careers.
Applications for the 2025 cycle are open through December 6th!
The cycle runs from January 22nd to May 25th, 2025, starting with introductory Python coding, and building up to advanced topics, such as Monte Carlo and data analysis.
