Having said that the audio quality of nearly any moderate priced setup in 2026 is going to be more than passable.

For audio quality having a good preamp is going to matter a lot more than mic variation. Large diaphragm condenser mics are great for well isolated vocals but they are incredibly quiet and thus closer to the noise floor.
