Cats have a special collarbone that isn’t attached to other bones, which helps them squeeze through openings about the size of their head.

Having said that the audio quality of nearly any moderate priced setup in 2026 is going to be more than passable.

For audio quality having a good preamp is going to matter a lot more than mic variation. Large diaphragm condenser mics are great for well isolated vocals but they are incredibly quiet and thus closer to the noise floor.

Companies are dumb.

I have authority to force push any code I want to a release branch but was just told I’ll no longer be allowed to use Chrome because it’s too much of a security risk for employees to not run some stupid nerfed fisher price browser 🙄

One thing that irks me: people keep calling the folks on the streets in Minneapolis protestors. They are not generally there to protest, they are there to observe and document. This is the product of organizing and mutual aid. It is telling that these acts of citizenship are seen as protest!

National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.
