I was thinking about sneakily inserting Bivium into the next Crashbook.

Regardless of the conflict of interest 😂 I realised as I had already played it, many many times, it breached the Crashbook's one rule: it only includes games I have not played (yet).

"Colonel, the United States is not in the business of interfering in other people's affairs," a line from Stargate SG-1 we heard last night.

I keep playing A Little Perspective because I thought I'd hate it but I am not hating it

There's something messy about it - it doesn't feel logically tight because I'm often searching not understanding - but messy can be more interesting than the Perfect Design™️

& I do understand some of this shit

A puzzle from A LITTLE PERSPECTIVE with cyan blocks forming a grid for our cheeky Red Cube Protagonist to solve puzzles. There is a deep blue block near the bottom left, which is basically a shuttle. There are also some purple blocks which have the numbers 0 and 1 on, these are step counters, and I am not sure I like step counters, friends.

Furking hell, this level, 4-8 Parity Adjustment is hard. There's also a frustrating step counter. Spent a lot of time on it.

Unfortunately, after spending some time on a walk thinking about it, I solved it and felt like a boss. This means I now think its the greatest puzzle in the world and I'm rad

Just occurred to me I probably should start developing unplanned free DLC for my game which remains unreleased

I gather this is what you do in game development, I read all about it

taken me about two hours to reach the point where I'm intrigued. I'm not *good* at it but it's fascinating how paths are just hidden "in plain sight"

I'm finding hidden things which is very exciting

only thing that upsets me is the 0/9 stuff because it's not always clear what levels are involved

I love Tad's work, but I was initially wary of this, worried I'd spend time trial-and-erroring, rotate/rotate/rotate until I see a path

Two hours in, my brain has changed. Sure, still hunt-rotating, but I know what I'm looking for

And then I found 9-3 by accident:

Ye, I'm aware it isn't necessarily YouTubers hitting buttons at me but they are setting up A/B versions and letting the algorithm fly. I'm not 100% sure but I think I'm also getting double notifications on subscribed channels that do this now, with the videos flipping their format

As I've become immune to clickbait hyperbole, I have a lot of videos I don't even click. But seeing another "version" of a video replace the original is really maddening, that moment when you go - I saw that video popup earlier, right?

Episode 6 of Azathoth Blues, The Anticipation of Grief, is now available in all the usual places. As we move into the second half of our first season, I can only repeat that independent art is hard to make and even harder to promote, and without your help we don't stand a chance.

No April Fool's fake news, please, because I have Trump every fucking day thanks with a war that hasn't happened, did happen, been won, is ongoing, never started, involving a division of supernatural fairies as well as non-supernatural fairies and will not involve ground troops any day now
