Took a break from FF16 to play Viewfinder which was absolutely amazing and has similar wow moments as Portal. Now playing Planet of Lana which reminds me of Inside a lot.

Wesley, a Labrador Terrier mix.
Adopted Wesley a week ago, he’s a Labrador Terrier mix, full of energy and always playful.
I had the same reaction. Reminds me of reading comic books from writers who used to write for DC / Marvel. I realize you can now say fuck and it is a lovely word but maybe restrain yourself a bit so it actually has an impact at times.
Humans have pumped so much groundwater out of the ground that it's changed the tilt of the Earth's axis 31.5 inches to the east. [read]
I remember playing that between Myst and Riven.
thing i have been thinking for years: welp. i got what i wished for. just great.
So far I’ve only reread Sourcery and Hogfather (this past Christmas) but I absolutely agree.
Not sure how I feel about this.
“A lot of the current Platform Engineering conversations overemphasize Developers and dismiss the importance of Operations
Let’s resist the temptation to remove the Ops from the DevOps conversation to make it look simpler”

Was planning to wait for the 15 pro but had an unfortunate experiment where we accidentally tested what happens to an IPhone when it is left in a washing machine for 20 mins. Still going from an 11 to a 14 is a huge upgrade.
Finished Making Money by Terry Pratchett recently. Another fantastic book. I keep increasing the gap between Discworld novels so I can have books to read for a while longer. The day I read the final book in the series will hit hard. By far my favorite author of fiction.
Went from an iPhone 11 to a 14 Pro. Quite the upgrade. Didn’t think I’d like the 120Hz refresh this much. Not to mention the massive camera improvements.
WTF. A couple of my retweets from 2018 are back after I deleted all my tweets last year.

Today’s mood after staying up too late playing the new Zelda game.
And by that I don’t mean I’ve only had 4 shots today…

I wish my ancestors who were murdered by Nazis were alive to see people suggesting that being nicer to Nazis would stop Nazis from being Nazis but unfortunately they’re dead because they were murdered by Nazis.
Seriously, @washingtonpost.com, what is wrong with you?
Watched Renfield last time. Over the top gore (for comedic effect), a great Nic Cage portrayal of Dracula, and an hour and a half. Need more movies that aren’t 3 hour long blockbusters.

It’s Friday so time for a breakfast sandwich and a cortado from the coffee shop.
But Happy Star Wars Day anyway! 😋🖖🏼
What a year, huh? Lemon it’s May!
I also think people don’t realize what kind of mental health problems someone would go through if they too had no place to live, no support system, food was erratic, good sleep was non existent. Many could not keep up if they lost just one of those things.
The solution to hunger is food.
The solution to homelessness is housing.
The solution to poverty is money.
The solution to the mental health crisis is universal mental healthcare.
All of these issues are linked but the solutions are direct and effective when applied universally.
I cannot even begin to state how much of a profound failure of leadership we have seen in the last 24h re: Jordan Neely.
Virtually every one of us is closer to being in Neely’s shoes than we think. How could any leader struggle to condemn violence? Being poor or sick is not a license to be killed
