sorry if that's kinda standard. what i usually do when i get stuck is i check out how other artists that give off something like the vibe i'm going for handled a similar kinda of area, so i'll look up art by john singer sargent or monet or others for inspiration

i'm not super great at either of these, but good atmospheric perspective i think tends to elevate a background or a landscape and figuring out how to condense the details of different areas.
