What comes to mind when you see this illustration?

This is actually for my Mosstober entry for Day 8, the prompt is city (a mini city in the jar).

But the sad reality is that I don't know how to illustrate a city. The meaning of a city seems to disappear from my mind when I try draw it on paper.
