There's still pros to using steam and probably cons to using gog which i havent had enough attention to read

If anyone was not aware you do not own any of the games you buy on steam. Which means that if steam ever goes down or if you get banned then you can no longer access your games.

From what i've read when you buy something off "gog" you fully own the game and will be able to download it regardless.
